well add a +1

I just got broadsided by a valet driver last night as well.... same EXACT damage.

any advice from going through that endear?? because its a four party claim (myself, the valet driver, the valet company's insurance and the owner of the other car).

I'm just sick to death over it, my first new car in over a decade.

my guess is the sensor didn't detect enough deceleration or since the point of impact was isolated the sensor decided not to deploy the curtain airbags

my car is out for 2 weeks( body shop estimate repair time). The valet company is paying for everything from the tow, rental car and damage. The door needs to be replaced, window motor, rocker panel, trim, apillar, door latch etc.

I hate to see that, really stinks. I got rear ended last Friday, turned into a hit and run, fortunately it really didn't do much but scratch the bumper in a couple small places. It still made me mad, then later on sad since I had the car for 1 month and 2 days and had right at 700 miles on it. :-(

Anyway I hope they get it back to good as new for you, although it'll never be the same because you'll never forget it.
