My wife stole my Fit!
Bought a new Sport Fit last week after my '94 Accord was struck by a delivery van while stopped at a red light. When I drove the Fit home, my wife took a real liking to it and now it's hers! Oh well. It's a great car and I still get to drive it from time-to-time. And the Element I inherited is a step-up from the old Accord, which had over 200,000 miles on it.
Has anyone else lost a Fit to a spouse?!

Though I would like an ITR, I don't need one since I'm building my DC2 GS-R which is going to be an ITR killer.

Everytime my wife mentions that it's a pain to get the baby seat in and out of the Civic coupe (it's true) I cringe that the next sentence is going to be "Maybe you can leave me the Fit today..."
Actually I would be fine leaving her the Fit sometimes. If nothing else, my wife would not notice anything amiss in a car until a wheel falls off so it behooves me to drive the Civic occasionally to make sure it's actually running ok.
But I have a feeling it would quickly degrade into me taking the Civic to work every day.
Right now I think the only thing keeping me in the Fit is that my wife thinks it gets better gas mileage (in reality the Civic goes 2-3MPG better). Don't tell her

The Fit is a girl's car anyways, so it makes sense. 
I think I actually got laughed at today by a woman about my age who was following me in her SSM Sport just like mine. She was trying hard to look at something, so maybe she saw the "I <3 my Fit" frame? Well, she, like every other damn Fit owner out there, needs to wash her car.

so true. i bought my gd3 in mt with the plans to eventually teach my wife how to drive stick. two years later.... she is still driving the 03 element at and i have the gd3.

lol this thread is hilarious. at least you got an element out of the trade!
i taught my girlfriend how to drive standard and she loves it. she actually got her mini cooper s in MT and she said she wouldn't mind trading once in a while. sounds good to me!

LOL I would just get one for her if that happend. I mean why not both have a Fit inless money was tight and You really needed the Element. Girls you can't live with them and you can't live with out them
