Is this Repairable?

Hi FitFreakers Comunnity, I´m Posting From Panamá (the country) just arrive in and hope to learn a lot from the forum.
The thing is that i have a GD3 and i love the fit so much that i want to make a racing project from him but then i will need another fit to use, the problem is the money (not enough to get a new one) (fit´s are expensive here).
I was looking for a auction car and i fall inlove with OR. but just found this one and i donnt know if is repairable. PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICES

thanks from now.
Bst Regards

looks like there is gonna be a lot of motor damage, but i could be wrong. If money is a problem, looks like its gonna be pretty expensive to fix that one.

There´s no frame damage (i already check) i think Bcause the driver kind of crash straight to a pole right in the middle of the car. in that case dont you think i will be repairable?

thanks for the comments

The only true way to know if there is frame damage is to throw it up on a frame machine and have it measured, you can't eyeball that based on the body damage. That car is not going to be cheap to fix.

I handled automobile insurance claims for 25 years. One thing to keep in mind is that anything is repairable. It's just a question of cost. Is it cheaper to repair or replace? That is the question. There's no way you won't have front cross member damage from a hit like that. The strong hit in the center of the front end would pull in both the right and left front cross members towards the middle. Perhaps not much but enough to require straightening. With the thought of rebuilding I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

The question is why is that one for sale. It looks rather like a case of an insurance company totaling the car. Given the car, that means the insurance company estimated that the repairs would be at least half the value of the car, so probably 10,000 USD to repair. Even then, there's probably frame damage. The value of that car would be the part out value basically.

I failed to mention: yes, the car is an obvious total loss. No insurance company would want to repair that car. Aside from the obvious there's potentially an incredible amount of hidden, internal damages.

It depends on how much money you wanted to put into the racing project. If you were planing on a new motor anyways, this might not be a bad way to start, but I agree with getting it checked for frame damage first
