Exclamation HKS Supercharger for the CR-Z

With aftermarket companies looking at the CR-Z I'm hoping that it will benefit us, Fit owners.

HKS is working on a supercharger and I'm wondering if, with some modifications, it will work with the Fit.

I don't know the differences between the 1.5L L15A engine and the 1.5L LEA, but I'm hoping it's not much.

As far as I know the CRZ uses the same exact gas motor as the CR-Z but with the electric motor attached at the bottom. I would think HKS would be able to swap the supercharger to both cars (as long as engine compartment space was sufficient)

Obviously that video was sped up to 2x...or that is the fastest shifting/reving in the world. Even though its sped up you can still tell the engine will sound sweet.
Here is a comparison to a SC del sol that sounds similar even at 1X speed.

even if the compressor did fit into our ge's expect to pay muchos dineros. i for one knows HKS charges a premium for all their kits because they are HKS.

ill just estimate like $6k-6.5k for the kit.

p.s. the dyno numbers indicate 250whp.

The ECU for the CR-Z will be different than the ECU for the Fit. I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but....YOU STILL WON'T BE ABLE TO TUNE IT!!1!1!

Without a tuning solution we have no options my friends. Send your emails to Hondata. Like right now:

There's no need for your negativity I was simply commenting that there might be hope for the GEs even if it would need an aftermarket ecu

ouble facepalm:

Funny how you comment on my "worthless post" and then try to call me negative

Are you the pot or the kettle? Cause I know I'm black... Again, I don't understand why this thread was bumped? Nothing new here...

Ur black... what does that have to do with anything

U know u where being negative by trying to clown me with ur "facepalm" post and the following one after I said there was no need for that.

And this thread was bumped up again with nothing new , and Ull bump it up again after this post saying something else that isn't new witch would make u a hypocrite , So I'm Sry for the other people who actually may view this thread and think its ongoing about the topic but blackndecker decided to be a little immature. If ur gunna reply back to this mister "cause I know I'm black... " let it be in a pm

Continue thread...

Wow...you're really petty. "Pot calling the kettle black" is a euphemism. Calling myself "black" was a metaphor admitting that I was also negative. Sorry that the humor was lost on you.

You've still yet to post something useful in this thread. Be a hero and comment on tuning options for a GE supercharger, or new details on the L15a7, or even something new on the HKS kit...oh wait, there isn't anything new.

/thread
