15s on a ge sport?

I'm thinking about getting another set of the wheels that I have on my del Sol(see my signature picture) to put on the Fit. Anyone running 15s on their 09+? And have you run into any issues?

there shouldn't be any issues. base fits come with 15's
just make sure you have the right width and offset.

Gd wheels are sunk on a del sol, but these are not, so the offset should be fine, I'm going to swap one of my wheels over when I get home today and see what it looks like, though I run 205/50/15 on the del sol due to the drop, so the gap will look bigger on the fit.

always wondered how it would look on a GE. I see alot of civics w/ these wheels. They look clean and simple...and simple to clean. lol. you should try n put two wheels on one side and snap some pics to get a feel for it.

it's not bad. my snows are 15's and the tires look a little chunky but not bad at all.... most people will think it was the way the car came from the factory.

15's ftw mang!!! On the real tho, you can really feel the difference with 15's, but the only downside is if you aren't able to properly lower your car, there's gona be hella gap

So I swapped the driver side over. Keep in mind the tires are 195/50/15 which is too small for the Fit. I would probably run 205/55/15 and also lower the car a bit to get rid of the wheels gap. Sorry for the dark cell pics.

Here is a comparison of the offset between the wheels, I tried to get both side as close as possible to the same angle.

I don't know why they put huge wheel wells on such a small car, it's not like they were trying to sell us 225-40-17 tires/wheels from factory. The car would look better with smaller wells.

14's

My buddy EK3 Ferio ran 15" TE37s on his GE6, shod with 195/55 Advan Neova AD07 rubbers. No problem at all. They're ridiculously light - the reduced weight helped the car's performance massively.

He's sold the car off recently though.

15s give you much more flexibility with the tire size options. Remember: smaller tire circumference = higher final gear ratio = better launches.

smaller then stock circumference also falsely increases your mpg and racks up miles which will run out warranties faster. My del sol racks up an extra mile on my 36 mile drive to work. While that isn't a lot, at 36000 miles, the vehicle would show 37000 miles. Again, not much, but 1000 extra wasted un driven miles.

^this + unsprung weight reduction = #1 performance mod.

The performance gain is like swapping out the gear set in the tranny and finding 15 hp hiding under the hood.
