Question regarding New 2010 Fit S
Question regarding New 2010 Fit S
Hey, i'm new here planning on purchasing a 2010 from the stealership lot. What do you all think, a new (auto) 2010 Orange Revolution Metallic Honda Fit Sport for $17,500 out the door? Is that a good deal or are they trippin?
truecar.com
Well, if you're paying 3% sales tax, then the purchase price is about 16,990, about $200 less than dealer cost (according to truecar). I don't think you'll get a better price anywhere. They're losing money on it.
They make some back on the loan if you finance with them; maybe that's how they'll break-even. Watch out for the finance guy; he'll try to sell you contracts (extended warranty and service) that are pure dealer profit. Don't go for any of that stuff.

do it man, i payed close to that for a manual out the door, this was last year tho, and i had to pre-order mine, an 2010 honda fit sport... it seems like a good time to buy because the new models are rolling in.
my family generally buys during the model changes to get a good deal... this was the first time we actually had to bend over and take it, only because i sold my previous car around this time, and i had no other choice but to buy a 2010 model, we were trying to get a 2009 but it seems they were sold out of them everywhere

Congratulations, and welcome!
Drooling over the S2000, too. Combination seems a good mix of utility and adrenaline.
By the way, I purchased a 2010 MT Sport for $16.3k plus tax/title. But that's a manual. Looks like a similar deal, relative to dealer cost.

$17,500 straight up cash. The S is so freaking small so I had to get something bigger
