Much to my dismay, the front left speakers of my Fit DX just blew. The volume is now lower than normal and it makes a staticky sound. I was informed by my dealer that it is no longer under warranty (passed the 3yr/60,000 km mark). So, I want to replace both front speakers with aftermarket speakers, hopefully with better sound quality (same 6.5 inch size). I need some advice! Does the existing Honda Fit factory deck have enough power to support an upgrade in speakers (or would you recommend changing the deck as well?). I'd prefer not to change the deck if possible... I just want better sound quality. (Note: I have the 2007 Canadian Fit DX, which is the base model that only comes with 2 speakers in the front doors.)

 

I would upgrade to something better then the stock OE one... go check out your local audio shop and see what they have.

 

You might get better help by posting in the first gen section. I'm not sure how different the sound system is but I suspect it to be quite different from the 2nd gen.

 

I'm not sure about Canada, but try Crutchfield.com and they can tell you what fits your vehicle.
