i was lookin in the engine bay wondering what i could attach the engine dampener to. but when lookin around i saw this thing, what is it for? im not going to attach the dampener there but what is it? btw im talkin about the giant metal disk attached to the engine mount

I have always used a hose to dampen my engine. Not sure where you would attach one.
