Sell my stock rims??

So someone is interested in buying my stockers, my question is how much should I sell it for?? The stockers still have decent tires on them, about 70% too. $400? $500? Let me hear what you guys think!

Well here in Pa. dealers typically give you $1000 less for your trade in with non-stock stock wheels & tires. I worked one time for a VW dealership. It can also devalue your trade in by up to $2000. Because it screams the car was owned by a hot rodder/tuner/modifier and abused the car. Body modifications even drag the book value down even more. My Nephew works for the largest auto auction on the east coast, and when on the auction line, and similar cars, the one with non-stock wheels & tires brings far less on the block. Store them, and when you sell the car put them back on. Sell the custom wheels & tires to some poor kid that wants to modify his. It may just keep the value of your car high at trade/resale. Your money $500 now, $1000+ later.

All true but I'm not planning on trading in my car at all. To me, the Fit is one of those cars that could be kept forever; great mileage, room and space, handling, etc. Thanks for the input though, much appreciated, but I'd like to know how much I can get for these babies

If you told us which Fit you have and what size the wheels are...

I think $500 is more than fair and probably wouldn't let them go for any less.

We're on a GE thread so you should assume it's a GE! but to the size of the GE stockers, I think they're 16x (idk) +55

If you were referring to my other rims, they're 17x7.5 +40

True. The GE Fit Sport has 185/55R16 but you didn't even say which GE Fit you have. The base model has 175/65R15 on steel.

I don't know why you wouldn't just look at his signature... seems like common sense to me.

OOOOOHHHH SNAP!

Couldn't resist.

OP, I'd keep the wheels/tires as backup/winters (although in SD, I don't forsee too many snowy nights) do they still have the TPMS Sensors? If so, you can ask a bit more.

I forgot about the TPMS sensors...! Thanks! I would love to keep them as backups but if the offer's good enough, I might do it!
