Fits have a race class
A couple of days ago Grassroots Motorsports reported that both SCCA and NASA has approved a new race class for the Fit as well as the Mini and Mazda 2.
Even though its handicapped by aero the Fit looks promising. The Mini should have the advantage on cornering and smaller cross section (ie better aero) the Maz and Fit are pretty equal, Fit in accel and Maz2 at top speed. Rules apparently are strictly stock (with some limited 'improvements' aka SSS racing). Its called the Bspec class. Go to grassrootsmotorsports.com/bspec/ for more details.
In any event its a good place for Fit racers.
PS GRM is the best shadetree mag out there and a sub is pretty inexpensive. And good reading.

B-Spec, correct? Search for posts here, they've been doing some discussions. Car & Driver did a good article, and Autoweek followed with a smaller write-up.
