Non-OEM door sills

Bought these door sills from ebay for about $30 (shipping included) from China. These are not the OEM plastic sills that go for a whopping $100.

In my opinion these look better and they even have logos on the smaller sills, something the OEM versions do not have.

Made out of solid aluminum and stick to the car with 3M tape just like the OEMs. You probably can't see since I put it up against a black background, but along the edge of the pieces there is a plastic border. Most likely a cosmetic thing, but they look great none-the-less.

If you are interested, just do a search for them on ebay. You'll find them.

Oh dang, looks like the listing ended and they aren't for sale anymore. Guess I got mines just in time! You might be able to find them elsewhere online.

I found the manufacturer/distributor located in Shenzhen, China. I emailed them to see if they sell retail or have a distributor in USA. If not, maybe we can get a group buy. These are nice looking sill plates and I would think they many people may be interested in them at that price. Will post again when I hear back from them.

As an update to my communicating with supplier in China, I just remembered that this is now Chinese New Year and most establishments will be closed till approximately mid February. I have emailed them and will update when I hear back on info I requested concerning these exact door sills. Thanks-John

Bet they'd look amazing on a SSM or Alabaster Silver fit. I'd be in for a buy if they had em in black

You could always paint them black if you wanted. I was thinking of taping over the chrome and spraying the sills black. Black with chrome logos... would look really good IMO.

Yeah I stumbled upon these the other day. I haven't installed my Honda sills yet, so these are still an option for me (but, to be honest, I really like the look of the Hondas). I was really impressed with their looks, and it sounds like the quality is there as well.

Great Idea! Hate to admit it...but I didn't even think of that. I usually think of alternate methods too, maybe I was too tired at the time of posting lol. If I manage to get ahold of some of those maybe I'll try with the spray plastidip first and see how that holds.

Zeta Products is selling some sills which look very similar to the OEM style for $45.

to me, the black looks better on lighter color cars, the silver better on darker color.

SO glad I found this post! I have been trying to find sills to go on my TW and I think these are going to be perfect. They were only $34.98 shipped
