Oh guess what... I bought a FIT!

Yup. Just got a brand new (16 miles) white 2010 Fit Sport from Hennessy Honda in Woodstock Georgia on Wednesday, the 2nd of March. I went through USAA's car buying service, and got the car for $17,500 out the door.

It's going to be my daily driver. Prior to this I had a G35 sedan (as shown below). Work has had me driving more and transporting more, so the FIT was a great fit

Since purchasing, I tinted the windows (20%) today (not pictured), and have ordered:
OEM Floor Mats
Broadway 270mm Convex Mirror
Red H Badges from Decaldude for the front, rear and key

And I plan to order within the next few days:
JDM non-LED Taillamps
JDM reverse lamp sockets
OEM steering wheel controls
OEM Variable intermittent wiper stalk

And in the next month:
Wheels & Tires
Suspension (Shocks & springs or coilovers, and possibly sway bars)

So far the car is very fun, I am averaging 35-40mpg on the 150 miles I have put on the car. It's got a great amount of room!!

Oh, and here is my toy car :

Which is actually for sale as well ($10,500) as I want to start another project car.
It's a 1995 Mazda Miata with a lot of parts (I wont bore you with a parts list) but it makes 281hp and 268tq.

Thanks! Ya, the Fit is going to be a great DD, and there is so much room for activities in the back, I must say that.

Nice NA! Quite a few miata people, or previous miata-heads on here. I think once you own one, you are a lifer (unless it was just too small to fit in.)

Thanks for all the compliments! Ya, I still fit in the Miata, it's just not practical for work though.

Congrats on the Fit. It makes a great DD. The single most reason I got rid of my Acura CL-S. Look into some LED lights for your parking lights for a little added extra flavor if your into that. I've got LED Parking, License and interior lights. Sets off the car nicely.

Not sure where you're getting your JDM tails but make sure they are including the bulbs/socket if you are getting them from another member.

Congrats on your new Fit. It's a great car, you are going to enjoy it.

If you haven't already done so, I would advise investing in a good after-market alarm. Many members on this forum (including myself) have had their wheels stolen, hate to have it happen to another Fit owner.

Just a question by any chance did you have wheel locks? It's a cheaper alternative than a aftermarket alarm if you didn't. Just make sure you don't keep the key in the car.

I meant don't keep it in there overnight. Of course you need it in the car when it's in use. You don't be dumb.

Yes, Param had wheel locks on the car. They are deterrents, not prevention. I believe that's why he's suggesting the alarm.

ok that's fine that's why I asked. To be honest an alarm is just a deterrent as well. If they know you have an alarm all they have to do is break your window pop the hood and disconnect the battery. All we have is deterrents that's why I'm thankful for a garage. I had an alarm on my integra but that didn't stop them from still breaking my window and ripping out my radio.

I changed my little side marker lights to PIAA yellow ones (didn't list that because I already had the bulbs) Thanks for the pictures though!
I went through Danny on the forums, and he stated he will be including sockets.
I'll have to look into an alarm or/and a set of wheel locks. Though I haven't had any issues with any of my other cars (knock on wood!)
