ohh how much did you get the rack for including the fairing thing...?

 

my girlfriend bought it for my birthday. all new parts with locks was 550. i suggest that you should find a used cheap one that is in good condition cause thats what i wouldve done but couldnt find one so she got it for me....its pretty expensive -__-

 

Your description said BIKE racks...but you then show a roof rack. Did you mean just roof rack bike racks?

If not here is my rear mounted bike rack...

 

This...scout craigslist, garage sales, thrift shops, whatever. I scored a set of Thule feet/load bars for $100 on craigslist. $50 for the correct Fit kit and set of replacement keys and I was good to go. I even got some extra parts that I can resell and recoup some of my costs.

 

this really is the way to go. i've had the same load bars on three of my last cars since they all required the same length. i think i got it from CL for $50 with two bike trays. all i buy new is the fit kit since i couldn't find those used for a good price. i haven't placed the rack on my fit since i've just been putting the rear seats up and placing it back there w/o the front wheel attached.
