I will make my story short. My wife's cousin knows the finance dictator from a local Honda dealer. I was thinking to purchase a full Mugen Body Kit from him. He was very friendly and willing to help. He contacted the part director. Unfortunately, the part director was on a vacation. He got the following pricing from the part department:

1. Honda Front Grille (Fit Mugen): Taffeta White (NH578)-71120-XTK-000ZC retail $ 444 cost $321

2. Honda Front Underbody Spoiler (Fit Mugen): Taffeta White (NH578) - retail $653 cost $468
71110-XTK-000ZC

3. Honda Rear Underbody Spoiler (Fit Mugen): Taffeta White (NH578) - retail $657 cost $451
71510-XTK-000ZC

4.Honda Side Underbody Spoiler (Fit Mugen):Taffeta White (NH578) - retail $867 cost $635
71800-XTK-000ZC

Plus tax.

The above price quotes seems reasonable to me. Here is the fun part from yesterday:

"The parts director is back and I was able to talk to him about.
Sorry, he went overseas for several weeks.

But, one thing he said is you have to purchase the whole kit.
Honda will not sell individual parts.
They have to be purchased by the full kit.
He is getting me the kit price now from Honda.

Anyway, the whole kit will cost approximately $5,400.00
Honda stated that there are only limited number of kits available and cannot be separated."

Come on?? Really?? LMAO $5,400. Good to know. (I owned a BMW E90 and the full painted M-Tech Kit only costs around $3,000.) I guess I will purchase the kit separately on line then.

Please avoid Honda of Tysons Corner, VA Part Department.

 

wtf.... spending $5400 on a FitSport is incredibly dumb, but that's just me.

 

So if you have a Mugen Fit and you wreck the front, you'd have to buy the whole kit just to replace the front? hahahaah

Thats Mugen for you. Absolutly no purpose other then draining your bank. They do look good, but not $5500 good. In my opion for $5500 contact HKS or Kraft works for something useful. Take the remaining money and dump it on wheels. Just my opion though. Mugen does LOOK good.
