Another chop of the JCW wheels. This isn't my car btw and think I'd lower mine a little more:

I see them on garbage civics and Tegs everywhere around my way. Its almost like if they have Volk thier car is instant HOT? NO! So I vote Minis.

Let the bashing begin on me for telling the truth and turning right at the FAD.
God thank you. I have never understood the need to put $2000 wheels on a $3000 civic. I see so many cars with paint that is torn to crap, garbage interior, and a motor that barely runs right on a good day but they have mugens or some equally expensive wheels.

Just a suggestion is you may try to find some Black Racing Pro N1's. They come is different sizes and colors (including gunmetal, sliver and bronze) and are fairly rare without being super pricey. There is always a bunch on Yahoo japan and there are companies that can get them for you.

Aside from that I do like the mini wheels. They are clean and alittle unique to see on a fit.

I dig the JCW's. Looks real stock and proper.

What's the overall look you are going for on the car? Classy, sporty, Ricer?

The only ones I wouldn't do is the BBS LMs black.

I like the JCW's the Volk's in white, and the Breytons.

Love how the chops add Disc brakes to the rear... sometimes in front of the rotor, sometimes behind. :P

For some reason I really like the Fit's stock wheel setup. I have a hard time falling in love with any aftermarket wheel with this car. If I had to pick I would go with the RC's. But I think the RC's actually look perfect on the Mk4 GTI.

From your list, either BBS LM or Mini.
Since Mini wheel specs are similar to ours, I suggest checking Mini forums for some ideas. And fyi, BBS center caps doesn't fit OEM Mini wheels.

Personally I'd go for Hartge Union Jack wheel. Probably not cheap.

Is it bad that I like the polished TE's?

I love the polished look with some colored lugs.

As far as the mini wheels, thats where I look for deals. Those guys go through wheels like mad! Wheels and Tires - North American Motoring :: Marketplace

Can usually find some R98's for cheap:R98 for $500 w/ tires I think these would look great on a GE.

I had those R98 Mini wheels on my Cooper S and yanked them for some Rota Slips in 16" because they are heavy, like 22# per wheel, but they are a true 2 piece BBS made wheel, high quality for the money if you can stomach the weight, the Rota's took like 6# or more off each corner, the car felt allot different.
I sold my R98's with beat tires for $400.
