any ferrari owners here?

I could afford the 512 that I test drove (I think it's still there too PM me if you are interested, they don't have it listed online), because it was in pretty rough shape. Mechanically it was up to snuff but the interior was garbage, at least by Ferrari standards.
I would still have a Fit even if I could buy a 430 or 458 new, because you don't drive that sort of car everyday. Not only that but if any of you knew the cost of ownership on a Ferrari, even when paid off you'd probably have a stroke when the first major service came due.

There's a guy with an NSX who used to post a good bit, but has been gone for the last couple years.
So its like owning a Ferrari, but better in every regard except for straight line speed and brand cache.

Thank-you! You nailed on the head....That's why I said "I would luv to see a Ferrari and a FiT in the same garage"..

Car and Driver: While the 1.5-liter’s 117 horsepower won’t much squish the seatback foam, keeping the four-pot revving can make for an engaging game with either of its two available transmissions.
Is your DD an F1?

No, i've just owned cars that revved over 7k before, and considered those not high revving.
I have friends with B16's/B18's/4AGE's so I don't consider anything below 8k high revving.....

Considering my other four bangers rev north of 9k (one I set to spark cut @ 10.5), and there are OE V8's spinning to 8.. the ~6500rpm redline in the fit is somewhat underwhelming. But that is because of our rod/stroke ratio being pretty low, and I am willing to bet VE tanks after 7k because of the port sizes.
Yay pedantry! lol
