I meant 5000 miles, but I do autocrossing, track, frequent drive from Tucson to Phoenix, and let the car sit for long periods of time. Its possible to hit 15% at 3000-5000 miles, but not yet for me as of yet. Some one posted here that they hit 15% at 660 miles.

I always changed it at the 5000 miles mark on my previous car. I don't follow the maintenance reminder and the only time I waited 10-15% was because it was break-in oil.

I've had my Fit since April 15th 2009, and at my last fillup, the odometer was 84,211.

About 35k per year or so...

Have you had any issues with the Fit? I drive just as much as you do

Good to see (I think) that there are others that share my mileage pain!

But I, too, am interested to see if Jodele has had any problems (besides minor wear and tear, and maybe a A/C problem, I don't expect anything too negative).

I'm quite amazed at some of the high mileage you have on your cars and the high mileage that you do in them. it is nice to know that your comments are not followed with ....... Ive had this problem then that problem and so on.

My 2009 Jazz has now got 45,000kms on it and is suffering from what Ive heard as the Honda click, Honda rattle, Honda tapping, from the engine under light acceleration, combined with a hissing from the water pump side of the head when the engine is turned off. I hope I can make the high mileage you people have managed to clock up

I do about 12-15k miles a year on my Fit.. Sad thing is this isn't a daily driver, I drive a 92 Eclipse to work, and this is just my fun weekend car, going shopping, cruising.

Purchased in FEB 2009. Approx. 13,000 miles. Daily round trip commute to work is 26.2 miles. Two oil changes and one recall. There's about 9 months worth of time I haven't driven the car due to deployments. Car runs very well, no issues whatsoever.

This year I should hit 40,000 miles w/90% of that from my work commute.

Before that in the previous 4 years I racked up almost 60k and that was with 10 long distance trips (1000+ miles).

Mechanical wise no problems! Besides a quirky leak and a jacked up drivers window (since I can't remember) it's done great.

Regular maintenance, checking tires and fluids and being aware helps a LOT. Still a great car, even if I am bitter about the time involved to fix the leak.

7600 miles a year average.. 38000 miles since I drove off from the dealership 5 years ago.. I've wrenched on it a lot but have yet to make any repairs, in fact the stock battery is still under the hood and works fine... Tires don't last me very long.

52K on the clock since Nov 2008. That makes 18.9K a year.

New tires at 40K, original brakes. Just oil and filter changes basically, plus some washing/ waxing and polishing

Picked my 09 SSM 5MT Sport in Sept. of 2008 for $16,700. I drove 10 miles to.work and made road trips to Alberta and Oregon and retired last month. I have 37k and fresh Yokohama Avid 195/55s on the rims and average 34 mpg with factory visors.
I'm happy camper.

Glad to see the high mileage reports coming out good. I plan on keeping this car for a long time so it's good to hear everyone's good experiences.

Will have had the car for 1 year next month and will have about 18k on it by then. Trips to Vegas and the Bay Area make up about 40% of it, the rest is commuting to work every day (traffic and lights).

So far, no problems except my Aux plug fuse blew out twice (Honda said it's my fault for unplugging Aux power with the key on ). Never had a problem doing that in any of my other cars, but ok.
