Hi,

I have a 2009 jazz/fit with the stock radio and CD player.

I have a satnav on my phone that I use but would be interested in replacing the central console stock radio and CD player with a touchscreen model incorporating a satnav. other functions like DVD player interesting but not essential.

I don't want chinese ebay junk, can anyone recommend a couple of models that I can take a look at? better still if I can install my own satnav software

have you look at the pioneer appradio? if you own an iPhone 4g i will consider it. I'm just waiting for the new iPhone and make sure that the pioneer's software is upgradable and i will definite buy that. About $400 or less.

 

thanks - looks interesting. problem at the moment is that there are just 4 apps available, although hopefully this will grow

 

i had it and returned it after a month. i can't recommend it. please read up on the reviews. the 3300BT is a much better buy with more features. the display just isn't as sharp as the appradio.

 

thanks - another qu. if I buy an in-deck unit such as a pioneer how can I get the correct mouldings for it to fit flush? I have seen a chinese ebay unit with the correct mouldings but it's only sold with the gps unit

 

They are available from auto supply stores and aftermarket audio retailers here. JC Whitney is one example.

Not sure about Europe, but whoever sells the heads should have the trim kits (or be able to order one) for Jazzs.
