Shop manual

BTW, as Haynes doesn't make a 2009+ Fit manual, I've been looking for some time. I did finally try Lloyds, who have a licensing deal with many auto makers, and I now have a pdf copy of the Honda shop manual for the 2009-2010 Fit, for roughly $37USD+shipping.

Something to consider. autobooks@msn.com

Cheers

Is this what you mean? (ebay listing from a seller with that email address).

Lloyds has it for much more. (if this is the lloyds you mean).

The ebay seller shows a picture of something published by Bishko. Checking Bishko's website it looks like they're running the same store as lloyds.

Here's an ebay listing by the Bishko guy. Maybe they're brothers. (their addresses are about 10 miles apart in Ohio). I love a good ebay mystery.

They all seem to be copies of the Honda manual.

The ebay seller lists his as a "replica" of the original Honda manual.

Maybe Lloyds, Bishko, and ebay seller "quickby" are all the same person (in Ohio?) The toll free number on the ebay listing (800-292-2665) seems to link Lloyds and the ebay guy. Busy guy.

Not sure about copyrights and licensing.

Does this make sense? How's the quality of the CD/PDF you got? Is it searchable?

It confused me too, but I did find material online to support it and it seems that they've pushed a lot of books, so I just hoped at that point that it was valid and took a chance. A friend pointed me at it actually, when they couldn't find a Haynes manual for their car.

The CD comes with a single, > 60MB pdf that is searchable. No encryption or special software required. Any pdf reader will do. I'm off to the maintenance section. I doubt I'll be needing the section on removing the engine, but you never know.

When I purchased my 2011 Fit about 3 months ago I looked on eBay and found a
Fit 2009-2010 repair manual. It's a Helm paper back manual. I assumed there wouldn't be many changes for the 2011. Seller had a "buy it now" price of $29.99 with free shipping. Condition good used. A quick check with Helm showed they are $150 new. I immediately purchased the book. I lucked out for a change.

I suspect the main in the 2011 are small changes like the switch to 0W-20 oil from 5W-20. That information on the oil fill cap and in the owner manual. I'm sure there are other changes but probably nothing major.
