What kind of a good price are you talking about? I was thinking about buying an Injen intake myself but the price made me stop and think about it.

I have the Injen SRI/CAI intake. It's not a bad setup at all. I did change my filter to a bigger one though. The noise got deeper and gave a harder pull as well. I'll take pics tomorrow.

on a side note the injen filter is really small, i think it restricted flow into the intake

I have the injen in Sri form. I love it. Nice throaty growl. Noticeable gain in pull too even though I don't have the bigger filter. Want to hear/see more on this from j1nnjuic3

For those with the SRI setup - did you just not install the piece that goes under the headlight? Do you have any issues with the filter hitting the battery?
Pics would be cool!

^ The sensor doesn't change position whether it's CAI or SRI. The only difference is the long silicone piece that leads under the headlight.

As you can see, the Injen filter on the left is way smaller than the K&N I have installed right now. I've had this intake for about 30+k miles so it was time to change it.
Luckily a member here sold me the K&N that fit and stuck with it. This is so much better than the stock filter that Injen sells with their SRI/CAI intake

hmmmm i wonder where that filter came from

also u can see we attached some plumbing to the little "tube under the headlight" and ran it to the fog housing then to the filter to supply colder air at higher speeds

Probably the OP.

Anything less than cams/high comp ratio/etc is worthless.
