just got my 12 fit.

ordered on 10/30. got it last week 1/4/2012. damn long wait cause of natural disasters in asia. but worth the wait.

I have a few questions.
1. where is the best website to order OEM honda parts?
i want to get a corgo cover and all weather mats.

2. my car' exterior still has a few spots with plastic sticker residual left over from the dealer. I think those are the plastic covering that covers the car when it's brand new.
how do you get those off without damaging the paint?

thanks

012 fit, tw, spt.

I usually wind up ordering from College Hills or Majestic online. Compare prices and shipping. College Hills has a much better website but is usually a few dollars more.

I'd ask the dealer to finish the prep they started (plastic spots).

I usually buy from Bernardi Parts, CollegeHills, or Carmichael

If you're getting the cargo cover, buy the 2012 version. It doesn't come with the useless flap.

Have you seen the WeatherTech Digital Fit?

seems competitive; depends on shipping handling charges. Follow it through and let us know!

Take your car back to the dealer and have them prep the car properly. I had the same thing happen when I bought my 2010 and dealer completely detailed the vehicle, as I had the residue on the body and glass. It is a difficult job to do yourself, so have them do it for no charge. Good luck on your new Fit.

Congrats on the new Fit! That's amazing that it took so long to get yours; I must have gotten lucky, haha.

I've ordered many parts from HandAAccessories.com. They're similarly priced to College Hills, who I'm sure is excellent, too. I've just done a lot of business with H-and-A in the past with my other vehicles.

The cargo tray is pretty much a must-have. Honda also makes a cargo liner, which I've just put in - I'll post pics soon - that can work in conjunction with the tray to completely cover most of the rear hatch area, including up the sides and the backs of the seats. Definitely nice if you move muddy items or things that may scratch up the hatch area.

Don't bother with the all weather mats, I went that route and the water from snow I tracked into the car just rolls off onto the carpet. I ended up getting a set of the Weathertech digital floor liners, just love them. If you insist on getting the OEM all weather mats I can sell you my fronts, used for a month. Just PM me.

The weathertech mats are serious business.
