Back to Honda Scene!

Hi guys! I just got my new 2012 vortex blue sport Fit MT and I must say I love this car.. I'm not new with the Honda scene and before the Fit, I owned a turbo EF hatch which I regret selling. Then I jumped into VW scene and build a pretty stout Jetta.. Fully built 1.8t Engine with IE rods, supertech valvetrain, and running a GT2871r. I can't wait to see what I can do with the Fit, and I'm impressed what I've seen so far on this forum..

Very nice choice. I was like you, coming from several Hondas before, the last being a supercharged EP3, then into the VW scene with an 08 R32, and now back to Honda with the Fit. Your Jetta is gorgeous, and I bet it's as stout as it looks with the engine work. VWs don't take much to make a lot of power. You have good taste.

Very nice Jetta you have there! I've only been in the Honda scene (EJ6, EP3, FG6,GE8)--and it's been so nice, but I too can appreciate all types.

Very nice! Can't wait to see what you do with the fit!

Thanks guys! I'm thinking of doing the suspension first and I'm looking at the bilstein pss9 coilover.. Any thoughts on this coilover? I think they don't go low as compare to the others, but they are more geared towards handling and ride improvement. The jetta puts down 390 fwhp @19psi on pump gas and no adj on the timing.

Welcome to the VW -> Honda club. You still have yours though. Recovery takes a while, I understand. I wish I still had an Emm Kay sometimes actually. Welcome!

Nice, what compressor/turbine was that on?

These Honda and Audi/VW cylinder heads make a good deal more whp/psi than my 20 year old DSM.

Nice choice.

The jetta looks great, but what does one do with a 390whp FWD car, well, besides buy new tires?

That said, I fully appreciate the engineering and work that would need to be done to get that kind of power out of that car.

390fwhp isn't so bad really. Most of the BS you hear about it are from people whove never owned one.

The Jetta is equipped with Peloquin LSD and I'm running the dunlop direzza star spec 1 excellent tires btw! 390fwhp seems alot for a fwhp, but if you really thing about it 390fwhp is not really mind blowing power.. I've seen the same engine double that power or any other 4banger out there.. It's all about how u drive the car and how you can control it, with your right foot..
