Fit LX to "Sport" conversion question

So, I'm gonna do the mugen package to my fit.

I know i need the sport front bumper, as my LX shares the same front as the base model.

for the fog lights, is there a switch panel inside i need also? i'd imagine there would be...OR - is it controlled on the steering column arm (with the headlights)?

thanks guys. just getting all info rounded up before i jump in!

look at the oem base foglight kit, it has all the parts to convert the base/lx to foglights. it uses a pushbutton on the lower dash to activate.

ok....

the base fit foglight kit wont do what i need. no need buying the WHOLE kit, as im doing the SPORT bumper and the base fog kit wont work.

as for the switch being by the wheel - argh. LOL

now i gotta source that too.

While you don't need the whole base fog light kit, you will want to get the wiring for it. It'll be easier than replacing base wiring with sport wiring.

Dr Unsped, prior to trading his car for a new model, did the same conversion for the front bumper. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tml#post949037

edit: oh, and here is Ray's conversion... he switched the stalk to include the fog. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tml#post953005
