Cool What mods would you like to do for your Fit?

Wassup peeps! I hope I'm not repeating an older thread. If I am, I apologize. Never thought there would be so many threads in this forum, so a comprehensive search would be time consuming.

Anyways....to the question: What would you like to do to your Fit?

For me? Skunk2 short shifter adapter; Clazzio seat covers; Weathertech Digital fit floormats, front and back; Silverstar Ultras; LED lights for dome and trunk; a more standard (and easier to find) set of tires, preferably upgraded to 195/60/15's; alloy rims; K&N drop-in filter.

As you can see, nothing really fancy or too expensive. What do you guys think?

It all sounds sensible to me and practical to me...When you get alloy wheels be sure and get the lightest that you can afford or save until you can afford some.. The 195-60-15" is a little heavier and larger in diameter so there will be a little loss of acceleration and cornering at high speed or sudden changes in direction will feel a little loose compared to a size with lower aspect ratio... You will have a much better riding and quieter car with the 195-60s though and the way things in Texas are always a long distance away having a comfortable, quiet ride is nice.. If you want to accelerate quickly a 195-50-15" would be the way to go. Swift Mach Springs are the best way to go, especially on a GE-8...

What would I like to do to my Fit that I will actually do (at least in the near future)?

Lower it.

What would I really like to do to my Fit?

Gut it. Flat undertray. Rear wheel covers. Moon disk front wheel cap. Minimize gaps. Everything possible to reduce drivetrain loss/weight/aero drag.

Get 70 mpg.

17" Rotiform
Mugen lip (rear)
JDP front lip and duckbill
New tail lights
Painted roof
LS460 retro finished

That's a good way to have my car set up for spring.

Nice list!

So far here: OEM cargo tray, window tint and Clazzio's. I'm considering the the VG Shark Fin Antenna for my next mod and then maybe some interior carbon fiber trim.

J's Racing makes a BBK.

Its likely that the D2/Wilwood kits can be made to fit the GE.

The ITR calipers can be made to fit the GE.

As for rear, no BBK, but a rear disk convo is probably possible.

Hmmm. I've never heard of the GE Nighthawk headlight bulbs. Are they comparable, or better than, Silverstar Ultra? Or are HID's the way to go? Short life-span for the Silverstars are kinda scaring me off, so I'm considering an HID system. Any recommended vendors?

Sharkfin antenna and I-VTEC decals sounds interesting as well. Still debating the center console thing, though. Oh yeah! In my previous posting I forgot to add mud flaps and rear bumber applique.

And I GOTTA get new detail items....microfiber towels, wax/polish applicators, etc. Or are microfiber towels the only thing I'll need for drying, cleaning, wax application and wax removal?

The GE bulbs are similar to Silver Star as far as I know. I just had one burn out after two years. The high beam was super. I could see halfway down the block I have now gone back to some aftermarket ones I picked up on Ebay before. Nice blue tinge but poor lighting. I will get GE Nighthawks again.
