You're asking for nearly full price for them... I don't expect many takers.

$1200 can net you much better wheels/tires than OEM that come with the car.....

the OEM wheels alone are more than $1400 w/ tax from any dealer or OEM vendor and i'm including a fresh set of rubber with them. i didn't think it was a bad deal.

I don't disagree, but these are OEM 16" alloys and at $1200 brand new you're still saving money on buying these from the dealer and i'm including new tires as well.

some people like OEM, OEM costs, and your getting a good deal since your getting the 4 wheels less than you would pay from the dealer and your getting BRAND new tires as well. sorry your not interested, stop hating please... buuuump. btw i also said "or best offer"

i'm sick of all these people coming in here and saying "stop hating."

people are telling you that you ARE LIKELY NOT GOING TO SELL. it has nothing to do with "hating."

if you can't understand that the "market" for OEM is SLIM at best... then you really should understand why the admin decided not to let people post sales in those sections without the requisite post count.

that said... i'm out of this thread.

^ bingo...

i can get Enkei EV5 in bronze, 17", better rubber, for less....

i'm not "hating" either, but you need to be realistic.....

if you get 800 for the full set, i'd be surprised.

Free market society means you can post a price that you think represents a fair value. Of course, that value may not be fair to someone else. In his defense, starting higqh and lowering price is better than starting low.

You will be lucky to get $800 for them. If I was going to sell mine right now thats what I would price them out. Lets face it, the stock tires, no matter how new they are, SUCK! And the wheels, even though there arent many for sale right now, people could buy alot nicer wheels for that price.

I have hubcaps on my base --- so I'm always looking for OEM wheels.

That said, for $1200 I could've just bought a Sport model. I'm waiting for about $500 a set before I'd jump. And even then, there's this Dell all-in-one computer that will probably open my wallet loooooong before wheels.

I'm not going to lie, I'd be more likely to pay $1200 for these than I would pay 5-800 for Rotas/Enkei EV5, although the likelihood of me doing any of the above is zilch.

GLWS OP.

uhhh ur one of those forum types. this isn't my first car forum buddy. coming from nissan and toyota 4x4 land and been working on my cars for years, i appreciate the advice but i don't need the lecture, save it for your own kids. and yeah you are "hating" because last i checked you didn't HAVE to post a thread and tell me they weren't going to sell. You ever heard "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all". That completely applies here. I don't go around posting on fitfreak that peoples items aren't going to sell for their asking price, let the "market" dictate thank you very much. Thanks for your "wise words of wisdom" forum sensei. and again... OR BEST OFFER!

1- i love the Dell vs Tires dilemma.
2- new guy is angry!!!!
3- old guy is hating LOL but not really
4- most people who want something OEM would just buy from a parts place unless there was a CRAZY discount happening
5- FREE MARKET FOR LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!!!!!

Sigh, this was me in the other '12 wheels thread telling another guy that his $800 price point was a bit optimistic. I guess whenever you tell somebody that their price is too high you're automatically an a-hole troll.

he ended up selling them for $800 actually. i PM'ed him about it. You shouldn't low ball peoples free market valuation just because some people really feel they are worth that and not EVERYONE is looking for a steal. people think that just because this is the internet it should be 40% off and free shipping lol. some people just want a quality product, from a friendly courteous source, and they are willing to save a LITTLe extra money. i do a lot of eBay and craigslist transactions. I'm very successful with them as well so i'll try the wheels there i guess. Thanks anyway FF. Better luck next time. I'll see you on the other side of the forums.
