Hi, I'm new to the forum and got a quick question - please could an admin direct this thread to the correct place if it's not.

I've recently bought a jazz ge6 uk model and would like a short ram intake, but the ones I find online and specifically for the ge8 usdm fit and would like to know if they would fit in my ge6. I have rung up several tuning companies and Honda uk themselves but none could give me a definite answer.
I know there's small components which are different on the ge6 and ge8 due to the different engine but based on pictures they look pretty much the same.
The only induction mod I could find here is the drop in filter panel which I'm not too keen on.
Any help would be great, thanks.

im down to try to help u is urs cvt tranny mines is its auto banging but take a pic of ur motor ill try my best to help u if i just need to see ur motor that cuz i got the usdm ge8

yeah mine look jsut liek it before i install it bro ur good for sureee jsut take the batter out to amke it easy on u to remove box and make sure u got the radio code

thanks wafulz. Are you sure everything looks exactly the same? I dont want to order an intake from usa to find out its not compatible. I have been doing some intense searching around the web but i cant believe not even one uk ge6 owner has a short ram intake(posted). Why would i need the radio code? I have fitted intakes before on my previous cars but never need the radio code.

ohhh cuz when ur takeing that big ass box out it makes it easier for u to remove if u take out battery idk thats what i did i needed code becasue of my nav but im sure its the same it look just like mine did mine is a PRM intake i jsut dont got the filter lol

 

All the connections, MAF and TB looks the same between the two cars, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'd give it a shot.

I wish we got the auto-climate control you guys get, as well as that dash! I like the new bumpers too specifically the placement/styling of front fogs & the new headlight design, and those little red reflectors on the rear.

how is the prm btw? i was thinking k&n typhoon. I know i should really look in the engine mods section...

 

I know the roof is a nice addition to have but i wasnt really that botherd if i had it at all because we hardly have any sunshine here. Where as you guys have sunshine all year round so it would be lovely if you did have it sorry to rub it in.

The panoramic roof looks great.... too bad it doesn't open (sorry to rub it in ) but atleast you got the retractable sunshade in case you do get sun.
Been planning on getting an aftermarket moonroof, but it keeps getting pushed down on my mod list, hopefully by next summer I'll get it installed.
