GD3 fit or EP3 civic wheels on a GE8?

Ive done some searching but haven't came up with many answers. I think I remember reading something about gd3 sport wheels not fitting on a ge8 base but can't remeber why?

Im assuming the offset of brake calipers came into play some how, so my question is can it be done? I imagine spacers would work correct?

Also can older si wheels fit or older oem honda civic wheels? I would like to see some pics if anyone has this set up on their car. Thanks guys.

I've got a set of winter tires mounted on 15x6 steelies that came off (IIRC) a 2004 Civic. No clearance problems; however I can't send you a pic 'cause they're not installed on the car at this time of year.

I've read in other threads here that most 15" or larger Honda wheels with the 4x100mm bolt pattern should work.

IIRC GD3 wheels don't work on GE8 naturally, I think it was brake caliper clearance issues or something. I think GD wheels are +55 offset or something retarded like that. You could clear with +5mm spacers. I was thinking about doing this in the past but the whole spacer thing turned me off of it.

I've seen pics of SI wheels on GE's on here, so that I know works for sure. I'll see if I can find them...

Here, this guy did it:
