Ok so Evasive threw in red Work valve stems with my XD-9's and now i want to match the Lugs to the stems...Randy at Evasive sent me pics of Rays, Works, EVS lugs in red and to me they seem slightly pink since they are anodized red.

I had Rays lugs on my Time Attacks and they are definitely pink.

any suggestions on which lugs are good and more red than pink? Also, do extended lugs matter with stock stud lengths?

Leaning towards the EVS extended Red lugs...

 

do not get work/rays lug nuts.
1. yes, they are pink..i used to own them. any anodized red has a pink tint to it.
2. they scratch by looking at them wrong.

i highly recomend these. i know they arent red, but they are ballin' lugs and will looks great.

password jdm has red ones, but its long nuts, are you only looking for short nuts?
maybe try Kic's leggdura lugs
or the MXP lugs

 

is there any pro/con to running extended lugs on stock studs?

 

Spoon also makes red lugs. Pretty much any lug will turn pink after awhile as the anodize fades from being in the sun.

it will work fine with stock studs, it comes down to how you feel about the lug nuts sticking out a little from your rims, the longer studs are intended for wider rims (9", 10", 11", etc. width) which have a deeper hub and the longer lug nuts make it easier to thread into
