I know this is not the proper section for this. But I figured this will be seen by more so I thought I would ask. Who all is planning on going to Import Alliance in Charlotte at the end of the month? We had a decent fit crowd at in Atlanta during spring meet but I think it would be awesome to get a bunch of us together.

 

What day is it?

 

I would like to go, but don't want to roll in by myself. Never been to a meet this big. It would be great if we could get some fits to meet up before.

Summer Meet 2012

The meet is July 28th 8am - 5pm and 29th 9am - 5pm.

Car shows aren't my thing, I'd probably go if I was interested since it's pretty close.

 

im surprised not many are interested. I've been going for the past 7 years and have always had a blast. even if car shows aren't your thing, the camaraderie is awesome and everyone, even those without a car, seem to have a great time.

 

I love IA. I went to the Atlanta meet since it's like 30 minutes from my house and it was a huge turnout. We even had a decent Fit crew roll up together IA Filled up the whole Atlanta Braves Stadium parking lot! Except it only lasted until about 2:30pm when the Atlanta PD rolled up in about 15 motorcycles and shut it down lol :P I don't think I can make it to this one but I hope you guys get a group going, I'd love to see some pics of a Fit crew at IA. I have a few pics of IA Atlanta, nothing special though lol GL guys!

 

Well I was going to be driving my FR-S up there, but considering recent... uh.... circumstances, looks like I may be taking the Fit instead.

Are most going for both days? Just Saturday? Just Sunday?

I wouldn't mind staying for both days, but that means I'd have to start looking for a hotel.

 

Fit is a hotel, plenty of room to crash out.

 

Wish they didn't move the location farther away. I've gone the past 3 years and it's a blast. 8hours to 14 is to far haha

For those that have gone to other IA's - is it reasonable to expect to get a hotel for Friday and Saturday night within 30 mins of the meet without booking in advance?

I am not entirely sure what hotel were staying in, as my friend booked it. But I know they all fill up rather quickly. I am trying to get a hold of him right now to find out which one were in and I will let you know. Were supposedly about 10-15 min from the place itself.
