Honda Jazz some qns from new owner

Hi anyone and everyone.
So I bought a Honda Jazz 2012 GLI, and i have a few questions as i am not sure if the other threads here are related - though i have searched.
Firstly i am very happy with my car.
In the mornings my gear stick is very hard to shift down gears especially from 2-1 or 4-3 its like it doesnt want to go in properly. Is this normal as it happens every morning?
Also this noise when i accelerate usually in second gear and up, like a really low suction sound. Is this the valve noise many threads here mention?
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't say that is normal. You really shouldn't downshift from 2nd to 1st unless you're stopped. If it were cold outside I would say some initial shifter resistance is normal, but really shouldn't happen in a warm climate. If it's a new car and under warranty you might go have it checked out at the dealership.

Does it make this sound only when you have the A/C on? Valve noise is a tick, not a suction sound.

Thanks for the reply.
I mean i shift down when stopped. I.e. I go from second gear to first at an intersection or lights.
It seems to get better after about five minutes of driving.
My car just had kts 1000km service and nothing was wrong i am told.
The noise is hard to describe. I have never had the air con on.
It occurs when accelerating only.
