Sounds good I'll let you know when I'm going to the canyons fa sho lol

on the progress bar and quick lane changes, I like the quick response to steering inputs. It's a little different from the go kart like steering with the stock Dunlops but not twitchy at all.

I feel like the tire change affected this more then the rsb but I could be wrong.
I know it is a minor detail but did the GD have a factory rear bar?

That could be the difference along with the other more obvious changes to the larger GE.

IMO street driven fits need no suspension modifications.

hummm, thanks for the input, zilla. the GD only has the basic torsion beam, no secondary bar like (i think) the GE has on the sport models.

my 09 GE sport feels bouncy where as the 12 GE sport felt too soft. the Swift springs on my '12 makes the car feel right.

The GD3 Fits did not have any Rear Anti-Sway bar at all, and none were offered by Honda as accessory parts. Progress was the first to make a RSB for the GD's. The Sport GE8's all came stock with rear anti-Sway bars, but they were pretty weak. Handling of stock GE8's was better than stock GD3's, but there was a lot of room for improvement. I asked the Progress CEO, Jeff Cheechov, to make a rear bar for the new gen. Fits in mid-2008. He agreed with me that the market would justify the R&D, and I bought the first retail RSB for the GE8 Fit. The Progress bar for GE8's has a higher spring rate than the stock Honda bar, and the Progress bar overrides the stock one to the point that the stock bar is actually not used at all. The Progress bar stops body lean before there is enough movement to flex the stock bar on the GE8's.

So it's fair to say that if you installed the Progress bar you could remove the stock bar from the Sport to save a couple pounds, is that possible? Or is the stock bar not removable?

yah, i have a feeling if you put aftermarket swaybar on the GE sport, you'd want to remove the stock one as it's going to be over sprung.

it makes the car feel very weird (like the front and rear of car is not connected right) when you got a stiff rear bar. i speak from experience.

from the read, it appears the cusco is 16mm diameter vs progress 19mm, so it might be good with the stock sport bar. who knows. keep us posted.

Does all model of GE8 come with OEM RSB? Is OEM RSB be confirmed unremovable? It is a bit strange. Does anyone know what is the stock bar diameter is?
Thanks
