Think this armchair will fit?

I'm interested in this armchair at a local yard sale and would like to pick it up for my daughter's college apartment. Hoping someone can take a guess from the picture. Has anyone been able to stuff one of these things in their Fit?

I've put in 69 folding metal chairs, an assembled gas grill and a mess load of luggage with 3 adults. (obviously not at the same time).

After seeing what the rest of us have put in our Fits, if you do not get the chair in, you will bring disgrace upon the Forum and you will be promptly banned. For the time being, you will be on probation until you post a picture with the chair INSIDE YOUR FIT!

That's the "inner" beauty of the Fit!

OK - No problemo. The Fit rose to the challenge and swallowed the armchair!

I have to admit the width was pretty tight at the hatch opening. Thanks for the compliment on the tail lights. I just bought them from one of our members and did the installation last night. I have to agree they look pretty good against the black. I have to wash the Fit and I'll take some better pics with the hatch closed.

Lightbulb Cargo thread

I think with all your pictures, you guys should start a "How much can you load/haul in a Fit?" thread... I think that would be hilarious. I've seen pictures from others on different threads all over this forum.

I'd like to see that, too. There are a lot of times I don't buy something because I don't think it will "Fit!"

I really like how the Fit has different configurations for storage.
