Which brand wipers?

The original wiper blades on my 09 fit lasted 3 years. I replaced them with inexpensive replacement blades and they lasted about 6 months. Is it possible to get OEM blades? If not, which brand/type will last a couple years? Thanks!

Yes you'll probably have to get them from a dealer and pay more but they are better.

The dealer parts department sales you the rubber blanks that you have to thread into the wiper. I was too lazy to fill in the new rubber, so I've been using Michelin brand from Walmart for $8.50 for the large driver side wiper. All the "best" and average wipers I've used lasted anywhere from 6 months to a year before it started streaking, so I've been planning to replace wipers every 6-12 months as a normal maintenance item.

Wiper blades really an issue? You don't want them on too long. Only way you can make them last is take them off every time you park your car outside. Even then every time you drive your car, the wipers are exposed to the elements. That's normal wear.

Mine were installed on the car January of 2011 (when it was manufactured) I bought the car April 2011, and here we are, October 2012 and the OEM wipers are still working fantastically! Which is much better than I have had with any after market ones on any of my other cars (even the supposedly super nice ones). I will be going OEM if I can find them when it is time.

I love my Honda ones. Although, if you follow the directions from Honda, you'll want to shoot yourself. Let me know if you get them and need help.
