Wheel Time: Help me choose

I'm pretty stuck on these three rotas, at least until I can afford some TE37s or the like. Help me choose. Simple 1, 2, or 3. The only other contender is the PF01, which I already know I like, but am not sure the extra money is worth it at this point in time. I'd rather spring for something even pricier and get exactly what I want later on, and sell these to a forum member (which is one of the reasons I'm asking y'all what you think, since I don't want to get the set nobody wants.)

I'm just bored with the stock wheels and want to change it up for a little while. All come in +45 fitment, 16x7, or I might consider some other options that I think are better. It's all a series of compromises, resulting in these three wheels.

1.

15.9 lbs

2.

17 lbs

3.

14 lbs

The MF-10 reps (#2) are the dark bronze that looks a little darker than that pic in regular lighting.

Mike, I've been anticipating your reply. Never fails! haha

I might stay with the stockers.. not sure. Just dreaming a bit while there are some good weekend sales from black friday. Do I have to bump it up a grade to some Buddy Clubs or Koseis to get any props from you?

Since you are always down on reps, then please, help me find a set of original designed wheels that are relatively light and high quality.

If you altimently want TE37's or another high dollop wheel, why buy cheap wheels right now? The money you use to buy cheaper wheels now could have been used to get the wheels you really want. I found my brother some used 18x7 TE37 in under two weeks for less then $2k shipped. Get onto Honda-Tech and put up a WTB for those rims, you should get some hits.

I can get those rotas shipped for $517 this weekend. Could be a good track wheel for later. That's my reasoning, anyways.

I had 16x7 Rota Circuit 10s in white for two years, took them to the track. Held up well. I just swapped them out for 15s because of the desire for less unsprung weight.

They're technically not an MF10L replica because MF10Ls never came in any diameter other than 15". They're not MF10 replicas either because MF10s were all 5-lug wheels.

They're still very much so replicas.

OP, I'm with MN, just wait it out.

If you want track wheels in the future...use your stockers.

Looking to resell on forum. Feeling it out prior to purchase, to see which one people like most. I like them all.

I'm open to suggestions, that's all. I wouldn't learn, or be where I am without that curiosity and openness in life. At the end of the day, it's no problem to get what I want, but maybe someone has an idea I haven't yet.

When it comes to weight, even a half lb per wheel is worth it. I also run my car with a max of 4-5 gallons of gas at a time DDing. I can feel a heavy backpack in my backseat while driving. Maybe I'm weird, but I'd certainly notice a change in wheel weight. The stock dampers are starting to get tired of dealing with the Swifts as-is. Still fine, but not great. In theory, something lighter would help the damping do its job with less work. The tires I have are great because they are wider and grippier while still being the same weight as stock.

Also, a general note about something often overlooked in wheels; the c10s look like they have most of their mass towards the center of the design. While 17 lbs. may be how much they weigh, that is dramatically influenced by the wheel design once it's spinning.

Finally, as someone who basically relies on copyrights professionally, I don't feel particularly great about the whole rep thing, regardless of the quality difference, which is another topic. I think you get what you pay for basically. At some point, the design can get iconic and price inflated, but that's business. That's how it all works.

If weight concerns you.

Buy 15x7 Kosei K1 with some 205/55/15 tires.

Lighter weight.
Cool race car looks.
No worries of them being cheap, crap, reps.

Where are you finding the Rotas for $517 shipped? Big fan of the Slips myself, no matter how old the design.

That's conclusion I've arrived at. I can get the black ones for $100 less than other colors this weekend. 6.5 width, so it will be even lighter! Besides, when it comes to expensive wheels, I haven't decided which I like the most, and that could take a long time before dropping that kinda coin on this car, which I have no plans on selling, which is why I'm jumping in a bit more. Friggin' love this ride, and all that it does.

If you can get cheap wheels, do it! When I had my Legacy I switched out rims about 5 times.

I ordered the Rotas. Too good of a deal to pass up. The only catch is, they come in flat black, which I love of course, but am almost sick of seing flat black slips after so many years.

Oh well, they are popular for a reason and look good on the Fit. I'm not ready to buy coils yet, so I may just have to wait for a 2.0 upgrade path should I choose to keep the fit long-term, which at this point, sounds pretty nice. No car payments soon, so that might help the budget.

I'm gonna get a Spoon sticker to put on there just to piss off Mike401b!

j/k. I think he and I are on the same page about reps.

I had a question about my order, and the guy got right back to me, which says something. So if anyone else wants some cheap rotas before midnight, I am plugging them:

Not bad. I perfer the flat black. Those aren't bad prices, although I might be selling my set for around that price with tires. Lol. But you're gonna enjoy them.
