Just got my Kosei K4R 16 x 7.5 +43 13.8lbs :)

I just picked up a set of Kosei K4R 16x7.5 +43 wheels from tire rack for $159 each, it's a cheap price for a relatively light wheel, I was shocked to learn my factory 16x6.5 +53 oem wheel and tire weighs 37.4lbs on my digital scale. The scale I used is accuracy within 1oz. These new wheels are exactly as advertised 13.80lb on tire rack. Im kind of on a budget so I am going to mount my oem 185 55 16 sort of stretched for a while until I can afford new wider tires. I know the wheel size is tad on the aggressive side but I am going to try to make it work. Assuming the oem Dunlop is 18lbs like advertised on tire rack I could be potentially saving about 5lbs or so off each corner, I'm not sure exactly how much of a performance difference that will make but I'm sure it will impact some, what do you guys think?

Why rush into mounting the OEM tires on them? Just wait until you can afford decent tires and save $70 on mounting.

Someone on this forum has a blue GE fit with these wheels, he has the 16x6.5 version I think though. But I've seen someone on here that has them on their GE.

I actually saw these on Tirerack and posted pictures for someone looking for 16x8. Can not wait to see how they look on your Fit. The only thing I wish they offer more color options.

They did, just not that easy to find a set for sale. A set popped up on ebay, which I should of bought. They sold within hours.

Yea they are, they are 205 50 16 hankook ventus v2, they were a cheap alternative to reusing the factory tire. I tried mounting one oem tire on the 7.5 and it just looked goofy since its too skinny.

Looks nice! Have you noticed a difference in acceleration or handling?
