NEED QUICK ADVICE: Alan wrench in side wall of tire...

I'm pretty sure im sol, but is there any kind of 90 day warranty against road hazards for Honda? Just took delivery of this car less then 3 months ago and I had a freaking alan wrench in the side wall of my tire.

I'd have to guess you are SOL.

Unless they offered you a rim & tire package warranty, I gotta say you are indeed sol.

I actually keep a spare new tire on hand as well. Both of my Fits got fatal flats in the first year. The roads here are horrid coming out of winter. But having a spare new tire allows me to zip over to my reguar mechanic right around the corner, who doesn't have the the duns on hand ever, and just have him put the new rubber on in ten minutes. Easily saves me half a day at the dealer, seriously. Worth it. Gotta buy a new tire? Buy a second too- you'll be glad you did.

I would check with the dealer to see if you may have some coverage from the tire manufacture.I was surprised that I had some warranty to fall back on when I got a nail in one of my tires.

I knew I did not buy the extra hazzard protection for my new Kumho tires but when I went to replace it they told me I was still covered by Kumho.

They pro rate it according to the tread on the tire and after a measurment they said I could get a new tire for $35.00 so I jumped on it and replaced my tire that also had a nail very close to the sidewall.I would have been paying $95.00 for a new Ecsta 4x 205/50/16

I would check with Dunlop if that is the tire you have can't hurt.
