Hello, all,

I was just composing a post in which I was going to include some photos, and ran into some confusion.

I opened a Flickr account (you'd think after all this time, they could afford to buy an E) and uploaded the shots. I copied the image URL, and used the Insert Image tool in the message composition window.

Upon previewing the post, the photos show only as broken-image icons.

Pointers? Procedures? Smack on the head?

Can you post what you're trying to display here? The link at least? Be easier to figure out what the problem is if we can see the link.

 

Open another photo-hosting account then like Photobucket.

 

... I'm pretty sure you need to make 20 legitimate posts on the forum in order to post pictures. Its just to weed out any potential spammers on here.

 

Thanks, all; it was OE - I was using the link address in composing the post, instead of using the image URL copied from Flickr.
