Traded in my CR-V that was damaged and over 60K miles, just before that time for the heavy car maintenance... So I have saved myself money in many ways here. And for once, I have a car that I like. These photos look hazy because it was very humid outside, yes, THAT humid. Yay for the subtropical climate of Tennessee.

Nice!

You'll be pleased to know there's no heavy maintenance on Fits at 60k: no timing-belt to change. Other than normal maintenance there's nothing until you hit 100K; then it's plugs and valve adjustment. Owners are happy with the schedule called for by the maintenance minder, although it's a bit disconcerting at first to go 10K between oil changes if you're in that group.

Oooh, that IS good information. I was going to start looking into that, but this has made me smile this morning, thank you. Its funny, not all dealerships wax all the new cars, but I'll enjoying waxing it. Its a darker blue, but as you can tell in the photos, which are pretty close to the actual car color, its a very rich electric blue.

And ha ha, my dude just informed me that we were changing my CR-V's oil more often than we needed to because at some point I decided on 5K miles, LOL I need to start paying more attention to things!

Bought It II

BTW: If they didn't drill a hole in the front of your bumper, I would suggest this as your FIRST mod: simply turning the liscense plate bracket upside down, IMO looks cooler, and provides some protection from flying debris!

Oh, very cool, Fittmann! Interesting the difference in the pinstriping they added on mine vs yours. I just took the front plate completely off, I'll have to look at it closer and consider something different. I wasn't sure what kind of plate I'd even want on it, but I kept the plastic holder just in case.

Not Pinstriping

Actually, what I have is not pin striping, but a "customized by me" side molding. I have the wide body colored molding w/ a chrome strip applied to the top of it. This picture shows the molding in a better view, along w/ the JDM tail light lenses.

Oh, ok, I see now. Very cool! And I see your seats are much lighter - my interior is black, which I guess is alright.

Well, if I had lighter seats, I would look into that. Since the seats and interior are black, I might not even bother with it. Interesting tail lights, too, and yours is a 2013, as well?

Mine is a 2012. And my stock interior is identical to yours. I got the seat covers to lighten up the interior/and also because the fabric attracts debris like a magnet. Is yours manual or auto?

I'm getting used to these paddle shifters. I was going uphill on an on-ramp to the interstate and of course, some dude was not really trying to pass me or get behind, but just basically run me off the shoulder, so I downshifted and blew past him. So even with my granny driving, there is a time that power is needed, and I'm glad to have that option. I know one can just drive all the time in the S mode, but gas is too spendy to do that.

Fit Seat Covers

Actually, they take a lot of pullingh and tugging, but the trick I used was to park the car in full sun w/covers inside for a couple of hours. That made them soft and flexible. I have limited use of one hand, but managed to get all four installed in less than two hours.

Last Wednesday I was taking my break at work and walking in our parking garage (it was hot out) and I was trying to find a Fit in there to show my friend the car I was about to buy. There was not one Fit in there. Today, after the long weekend, we take our walking break, and there were 4 Fits! Not sure which one of us was the trend setter, but it was pretty cool.

I bet someone on here has filled in those holes in the bumper, I'm not all that thrilled with that, either.
