That assumes it will still be produced, or at the very least, salvageable/find-able from somewhere in a few years.

The problem with a "wait-n-see" attitude is... if everyone waits, no one will see.

TBH, the cost of the supercharger is quite high and I really shouldn't be even thinking about it... but damn, I want one. Worst of all, I want it, just for the heck of it!

^^Those are great points made. That's why a lot of companies are afraid to step up and make parts for our cars, for example Hondata. Why spend man hours to develop something that will not generate profit when there are other platforms with customers willing to spend money.

People forget sprintex has had this kit available already for a while for the non-US models, only real difference is we have the EGR valve on our manifold.

I checked Sprintex's website and their dyno is in KW instead of HP, but they are stating that the dyno for the stock Fit is about 74 KW (99 HP) and after the supercharger it's 101.93 KW (136.63 HP) for a difference of about a 37 HP gain if my math is right. I think that sounds like a good gain. I can't figure out their torque in nM.... all the calculators that go nM to ft lbs are giving me off numbers for that dyno reading. Really the most important thing with a dyno is area under the curve though. If you look at that torque curve after the supercharger you see an aweseome increase in area under the curve. I'm sure that the US version might have some slightly different numbers though. Someone will have to dyno afterwards and see. Someone should get this posted in Honda Tuning Magazine once they get it installed.

Remove the cat, up the boost, replace the injectors, rewrite the tune, meth inject, and unlock the true power this could add.

They also updated their PDF flyer to include the CRZ.
Jazz | Sprintex - Superchargers and Supercharger Systems

Also I requested info on changes for USDM compatibility:

Hello,
The only changes are the egr valve mounting and mods to the manifold for the gases.
The tune is for USDM vehicles.

This is good news indeed but I will be standing on the sideline until some results are in.I would feel more comfortable with a better tuning option like Hondata but I'm sure the piggyback will have a safety margin built in.

I think the 135whp is mainly because of the conservative boost and tune and the fact that the L15A7 in stock form will only support so much power.

I'm talking about the limitations of the stock head/cam/intake and fuel system
I would not worry about the lack of forged internals at this level.

I would think long and hard about going this route if you are still making payments on your GE8 Fit and need your warranty intact.

I tend to mod every car I've owned and realize you have to pay to play and accept the risk involved. The fun out weighs the risk for me

As for mpg you will be ok as long as you stay out of boost but then why get a blower if you want to stay out of boost

You have to pay to play and I'm ready to do this. Hopefully only a few more weeks before I have mine in. Need to finish up all other mods on car too.

If I am not mistaken,
That pictures is not US car... because the brake fluid reservoir is at the right side of the car (US car is on the left side)...

or is it the clutch reservoir? my car is AT so I don't know whether that is clutch reservoir or not...

Hi Johnny,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We have developed a Fit system for the USDM market. We hope to ship soon.

The system has all component required for installation on a standard vehicle including a piggy back ecu.

Pricing is $2995 USD plus shipping.

So did they ever mention plans for the GD version? Since KWSC stopped making kits for us?

Nope, it is not a US/Canada car. You are correct about the fluid reservoir, the vehicle is RHD (right hand drive).

So far its confirmed for the L15A7 (GE8) and LEA (CR-Z). According to their reply on Facebook, they're looking into cross compatibility right now.

Don't quote or hold me on this but going from what I'm seeing on Bisimoto's site regarding their L-series intake manifold which should work for the L15A(1), the L15A7, and the LEA (which it is pictured on). If this is the case, then "theoretically speaking" it may work; however, whether it will work it is still unknown at this time "factually speaking".

Actually, the page does say it's non-USDM right under the picture.

You can't quite say it would theoretically work actually. Bisi's part does deal with the intake manifold, but that would be all. The Sprintex deals with the manifold AND the serpentine belt. If it were just a matter of length, I'm sure GD owners would hunt for a belt that fits on their own. But if the positioning doesn't line up, you'll run into issues later.

Sure, you could eventually modify something to get it to work... but it would still mean its not cross compatible as is.
