Getting a fit sport this week!

Welcome guys and enjoy your stay. Congrats to you new fit owners! I know you guys and gals will fall in love like most of us have.
Please make sure and use the search feature before asking anything redundant. Most on here will give you a hard time especially if it's been asked a million times before.

And kenchan, which Tanabe? Concept G or medallion? (Not to copy, just dont want to be TOO loud)

i run the medallion. it's an aggressive oem look, no silly fart can showing from under the bumper. it's not loud at all, just right.

i'm seriously considering the Fit (either base or sport, Automatic, Vortex Blue Pearl). Any accessories i should have the dealer install?
Other than the transmission and alloy wheels, and the black seats, any significant differences in the 2 models?

Some of the other differences include some interior niceties (map lights, dash mounted tweeters, a nicer steering wheel), some external fru-fru (spoiler, fog lights, lower body moldings), and a rear sway bar. The transmission differences are with the controls and programming of the automatic; the actual mechanical bits are the same.
Most accessories are pretty easy to install yourself and are usually available for less money from someplace other than the local dealer. Floor mats of some sort are highly recommended; there are some very good aftermarket ones available. A sun shade for the windshield is also very helpful with the Fit, and generic ones tend to not fit too well because the window is rather oddly shaped. Window tinting is also highly recommended by many people.

I don't ever use a sunshade in my car now, is there a reason i would want one in the Fit? I was also going to look into window tinting, possibly a bit down the road (read:xmas present to myself)

Great looking car. Congrats on the purchase. My mother actually bought the exact same car. My family is kinda funny. We rock an 07 Fit silver which is mine, 2013 Fit in white which is my moms. And a 2010 A6 with sline package. I don't live at home so the driveway doesn't look balling with two fits. I love the white it looks real good. Just needs tint to go along with it. You will love your Fit. I know I fell in love quite quickly. She's the car for me. Nice to drive, small enough, yet fits everything I need minus 4 snowboards and 4 snowboarders.
