New 2013 Honda Fit Sport Owner with some questions
I purchased a new 2013 Honda Fit Sport with a Manual transmission on December 28th! My first new car, the dealer told me 600 miles to break it in and to wait till 20% oil life before the first oil change. The only modification I have done is the OEM tow hooks but have a small list of things I want to do to it..
List of Future Mods
>Tint windows
>Smoke tail lights
>Paint rear bumper Valance silver
>Wheel spacers
>Intake
Questions
>When should I change the oil for the first time?
I'm at 1,200 miles now and 90% oil life
>I'm planning on running Castrol Edge 0W-20 full synthetic, is this a good option?
>What intake should I get? What intake did you get and how do you like it?

Pretty eyes... welcome to the forum.
As the manual states, leave it in there until the maintenance minder calls for an oil change (15% life is good, it starts to nag you then), or 1 year (whichever comes first).
Castrol makes fine products.

I just ordered a PRM intake. From what I've read all over the forums, intake will not do much of anything except add noise so it's up to you which one sounds "best." I personally chose the PRM just because it seemed to have the easiest install and least fitment issues. And Gerry the owner is super cool. There is a DIY intake thread somewhere here that will produce the sound you may want as well.

+1 on the PRM intake idea. Not do much on the tow books. The designers never intended for them to be exposed. In my opinion they distract from the appearance and could result in unnecessary damage in a minor accident. In any case, congratulations on your new Fit and welcome to the forum.
