Whats my fit worth?

I bought a brand new 2009 Honda Fit on 1/20/09
Black
Manual

As of today it has 175k miles.
Tomorrow or monday its going on ebay with no reserve.
Plenty of maintenance done
Everything done at Bay Ridge Honda of Brooklyn and Paul Miller Honda of West Caldwell NJ
Just sprayed my front and rear bumpers due to rash from occasional parking on the street in queens.

95k struts replaced under warranty
95k one caliper seized
127k Clutch
130k battery died
150k all fluids trans, brake, clutch line, coolant
160k ac compressor went out
172k New front bearing both sides
173k Axle shaft seal drivers side, Trans flush as well
175k New rear shocks
175k New tires all around

keep in mind
OLD SCHOOL MAINTENANCE
4000 mile oil and filter changes
25k trans fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant
80k new thermostat waterpump serpentine belt ... preventive
105k sparkplugs preventive
every 15k cabin and air filter

But it never let me down always started hot cold ... trips to florida etc

All highway miles obviously

I was thinking around 4500$

Nadaguides.com would be closer to the black book that dealers and people use. 2009 Honda Fit Hatchback 5D Prices, Values & Fit Hatchback 5D Price Specs | NADAguides

Nada doesn't offer private sale estimates. Their "clean trade-in" value is $5,675 (Base model).

I think you'll get more than $4,500 for your Fit. Low to mid 6s would be nice. Please post a link when it's up, it'll be very interesting to watch.

NADA values clean trade-in on Sports of this vintage and mileage at $6,500. Do I hear 7k?

good ad. Needs engine pics and a couple undercarriage if they're easy to add.

Good luck! (don't think you'll need it, the service records and single owner clinch it).

Your living dangerously with no reserve but I wish you good luck in getting your price.

I think no reserve is perfect. The demand is good and it's a great example. The ad oozes credibility. You'll generate a lot more interest with no reserve at the beginning and drive a bidding frenzy at the end.

It's hilarious what people will do in a real auction.

I am a dealer I usually am in to cars to make a profit.

This is my personal car and I am not making any money on it. I have paid close to 20k for it new after taxes and extended factory warranty, spent maybe 6 -9k on maintenance over the years, and probably 15k in gas ... if it sells for 3k or 6k it wont make much of a difference to me ... I want to see what the market decides, curious to see what this segment looks like at higher mileage. If you check ebay a 2009 sport with 260k miles sold for 4999$ not that long ago ... so this is interesting.

Yeah, I've been checking out your volvo sales. I'm surprised they didn't go for more. Well maybe not, I used to own one. (at least a mitsubishi-volvo made in Belgium).

The little Fit will be interesting. I wonder what sort of premium "southern car, never seen snow (that's a lie)" would bring?

The economy is not that great so it could play out that way. But cars and houses are being auctioned off at a rapid rate and there is no profit for a resale at 4000 dollars. I hope you get it or more and its definitely interesting.

Never said it was a southern car or it not having seen snow. It's been in NYC longer than it has been in FL.

I was able to get $4,850 cash in a private sale for a 2002 Honda Civic coupe with 217,000 miles on it a couple of years ago, so I think you'll be able to get more than $5K for it. Hondas hold their values way better than most of the cars on the road.
