New Fit Owner! :)
Hey guys,
I'm the new, proud owner of a 2013 Fit Sport with a manual transmission. It only has 6,500 miles and was pre owned certified.
So, with that being said, I could most certainly use some suggestions for mods because I definitely need to get those going ASAP. I just have no idea what is available, or what I even want to do to it just yet. So suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking so far: Smoked tail lights, black 17-18" rims of some sort to fill up the wheel well much better with meatier/thicker tires, and a roof rack at some point.
I sure am looking forward to all the great gas mileage stories I've been reading. I traded in a Jeep Wrangler for it since it was no longer practical for us to have. 30+ MPG is double what I was getting in the wrangle
so that makes me happy! haha
Here's a picture to get it started. Thanks for having me all!

Cheers,
Adrian

Don't rush into modifications.
That's my best piece of advice, look at member's cars on here and figure out the direction you'd like to go.
If you like something they have, do that or get something similar.
18's on GE's are not a very good combo, although I'm partial to a 15" wheel.

Totally agree with Mike. 18's are silly and heavy. I'd personally stay with a 16 but if you're looking for bigger don't go over 17

Ok, so I'm thinking 17" but I'm not sure which size tires would look best. Still gotta do some research on that. That and lower an inch all the way around and I think that would be perfect. Still doing some more reading though. TireRack is pretty cool since it allows me to see what the car looks like with certain rim combinations.
Exactly... I just got my new '13 Fit Sport Navi last week. Windows get tinted tomorrow. I think we southern citizens do this 1st because were reminded very fast how hot closed up cars get. BTW am I the only one that missed the color of the OP mentioned?
first - don't tint the tails - it's most likely illegal in your state
second - window tint but not too dark - most likely illegal in your state too (ask about tint that blocks heat (not just light) it's amazing
third - window visors - you can lower the windows without people knowing and vent the car
forth - a quality set of springs to bring it a bit closer to the ground and keep the air out from under the car thus improving the already great fuel economy
fifth - keep the 16" wheel size, seriously the one inch you're willing to go up just translates into less tire options in price too, heavier wheels, stupid offsets, unless you're willing to drop some major coin on some lightweight wheels it simply doesn't make sence (these cars look great lowered on stocks)
just my .02

I'm definitely going to get window tint and rubber floor mats very soon. Just gotta pinch some pennies. Those Husky liners are quite expensive though.
Great advice! Thanks so much.
I've got a few questions if you don't me asking:
Which window visors would you recommend and where do I get them at?
What springs are available for these cars are where do I buy them from?
I've debated on staying with 16's but I feel they are just a tad to small.. I gotta find some pictures of other members with 16's and lower springs.
