Swift Springs??

Hey this is my first time posting here. I own a Ge8 and Ive been researching lowering springs. I don't want to slam my car just improve body roll, decrease wheel gap and have a nice looking fit. I've heard some great things about Swift Mach Springs. From what I'm told, you can use the Swift springs with your stock struts and they usually don't blow and ride great. If anyone on here has any info they could send my way that'd be great. Thank you in advance!

What kind of info are you looking for specifically?

These are the specs for the springs you are looking for
part#:4H021
Spring rate:
F:129lb/in
R:117lb/in:
Drop:
F:-1.2in
R:-1.0in

I just installed mine this week, install was straight forward following the DIY from here:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...r-ge8-fit.html

I ordered through Kspec racing:
K-Spec Racing - racing performance & tuning - air intakes, headers, exhaust, springs, coilovers, suspension - Homepage

I did email them before hand and asked for a coupon code which lowered the price by 15% I believe.

So far, like others have mentioned, the ride is very similar to stock in terms of stiffness, but more composed through the corners, less body roll, brake dive, etc etc. Overall a quality product.

Beware the brake dive!!! Or, lack of it.

Some cops are f-ing a-holes here. Because i put the Swift springs, my Fit doesn't dive when i brake moderately... Guess what? I got a failure to stop ticket because they are specifically looking for the dive (or rather, the bouncing lights during dive, especially since it was dark).

Attempting to argue/prove your case with the cop only guarantees he gives you the ticket.

Talk about BS, eh?

Well I was mostly looking for feedback on the springs. Pretty much is it a good ride, stiffness, and if you've had any spring or strut problems since you have installed them. Like you said, I'm looking for a close to stock drive but just a little lower.

Hopefully I don't run into the brake dive problem with my local cops. hahaha

Wait... sidecar was on at the time? And you were only on two wheels?!?

So, you were either doing a "wheelie" or the sidecar was in the air!

Howdy Shanz and welcome to FF.I've got about 30K on my Swifts and stock struts with no issues. They work great with stock dampers and I run the canyons hard. They give just enough drop to tell you are lowered.

The ride is close to stock but can be a bit harsh on bad roads.I usually have a full load in my Fit with the Family and the Swifts do just fine.It sounds like they would fit the bill for your needs

Thank you all for the info! I think I'm pretty set on Swift springs definitely for the great reviews. The only thing stopping me is the drop. I've seen a lot of photos of people's drops with Swifts and some look lower than others..Maybe its me just doing too much searching online haha. If any of you have time to post photos I'd greatly appreciate it!
