My DIARY of mods... Baby steps.

So guys I never thought i'd enjoy this car as much as I have. I tried so hard to make this my absolute final choice. I was driving an 08 Acura TL Tech. I wanted a TSX wagon to store my chair when friends were riding but had NO clue the FIT had so much room.

So w/o further or do meet my fit in all it's glory. I'll still do a video of my hand controls and how i transfer myself and my chair in my car with vocal steps. Enjoy.

Added i-VTEC SOHC badges...

Then my dealer gifted me molded rear mud flaps which they put on an appearance pkg for the base. As you see, they do fit...

Added center console to help me transfer but also help my dachshund get to back seat to wait for the chair.

My car in ALL its glory on this hot 91 degree day...

I initially bought red I-VTEC SOHC decals but decided on black after seeing which color were on White Civic SI. If anyone wants them, I will post them with how much i paid (just under $10). I'll let them go for $9.00. I'll be posting in another thread after i see if my buddy wants them. To those with very cleanly done FITs, thank you for helping inspire my look of choice to work on a look for my own.

Do you know the cost of the mud flaps? I have not seen these in person but they look very nice and add extra bit of detail to your Fit.

Thanks so much and great color choice with the TW!!

59.99 it looks like for all four. http://www.handa-accessories.com/fitext09.html IDK if these sites will sell you just the front or rear though. If they don't just buy all four and sell the pair you aren't using on the forums.

Thank you. White or black are always the color of choice by Honda when they do a sportier version of a car aka Integra Type-R for example. My plans are tom do a "what if" look if Honda had done a SI or Type-R 2nd gen. My only thing off that line would be the wheel choice i do in a year.

That is one good-looking White Fit. Subtle mods. Very tasteful. Gotta post pics once you decide on the wheels. Am planning to do the same in the future, and your right - the guys on FF have given us lotsa of nice clean mods to think about.

Here are more pix I took with a Beechcraft King Air 300 at the flight school where I'm the chief instructor.

Funny how my windows don't look tinted in the hangar.

Now those will look good on your White Fit. Was also looking at Drags (price is definitely in my budget) but they seem a bit heavier (2 lbs./wheel) than more established brands like Enkei and Konig (very similar pricing). There lots of retailers who will give good prices and am thinking that's the route I may eventually take.
BTW, was previously certified for single fixed wing. Took my solo flight in a Beechcraft Sundowner decades ago. Had to stop. Couldn't bear the cost of Avgas!!!!!
As the saying goes: "smart people think alike". We both drive Fits and fly Beechcrafts!!!!

The King Air isnt mine. I own a Beechcraft Bonanza with my brother and a 3rd partner. Ill either do those wheels or bronze rota torques. Next mods will be to install my 5k Bi-xenon HID and leds for interior lights. I need to buy one more b4 I start. A blue led bulb for the mood light over cup holder.

My vote is for dem Rota Torques in Sport Bronze!!! Totally cool!!!

Bonanza!!! Proven, dependable and can mod with all sorts of avionics. Back in the day, almost did a dual partnership purchase on a Mooney M20J, but got out of it before the "poor house" became a reality!!!

I dont know what happened to my pictures. They were from my fb page. Here is just one of them again. I like the concave Rota Torques but I think that offset would rub :-(.

Put in my Bi-xenon HID's (5000k) and Yellow halogen (3000k) bulbs in fogs. I ordered 10 T10 bulbs to only find our the reading lights and dome light are shaped like this (<===>). What size bulbs are these and what is the correct size bulb for the ambient light over the center cup holder? Thank you for all the support shared between the fit family members. Oh one more thing. How do you access the License plate bulbs?
