Question SC/Turbo/NA+NOS for JDM Fit Hybrid RS ?

Hello to all,i am new here.i tried to search the forum but could not find much about my quary.so here it is.
I live in Pakistan. Here locally no honda fit has been launched and local automakers have very poor quality vehicles.and in our counrty there is huge custom duty on importing vehicles from abroad(100% ).(local auto mafia influance on Govt)
But i took the plunge and imported my Fit hybrid RS 2012 from japan.Only 11000Km driven.Costed me 20,000 USD!(11000$ for car+9000$ custom duty)
It has same drive train and engine as honda CRZ.i.e the LEA engine(L15A+Electric motor)
There is no local support for it here but i have all you people
Although the torque of electric motor combined engine is amazing and i have smooked many local made hi-fi cars but still i want to add more power to it.
Some people will be thinking why i choosed a hybrid when i wanted to add performance addons? the answer is that for hybrids there is 50% less import duty.
i am interested in installing Sprintex supercharger to it,but i am confused whihc one and from where to order.as Sprintex cupercharger for fit/jazz on ebay is 3100$+800$ shipping cost which is too much shipping cost i think.
The SC for CRZ cost 2900$+200$ shipping which is reasonable shipping price.
as my car has same driving mode like CRZ,e.i Eco,normal and sport.so i think the right choice is CRZ SC.but my hood and other parts are of honda fit so i fear CRZ kit may not fit(space issue etc) but i have compared the pics of both kits and they look the same.
so i think difference is about piggyback tune.which i think CRZ one will suit me because it same ECo.Normal and sport mode.
so Guys forgive my long post but if some one can help me out about resolving my confustion.i shall be thankful
i have also emailed Sprintex.au and waitng their response.
i hope they say their kit can be installed on my JDM Fit hybrid RS
My question is which supercharger will be best for me? the CRZ one or FIT/Jazz one?
here is link to the pics about my Fit

Welcom. Sorry, I can't help you but I wanted to say congrats for getting the car. When i bought my 2010 fit my dealer told me we might get that in the US but it didn't happen. Sounds like a cool project though, hope you find your answers.

Email Sprintex. I know that the Japanese version of the Fit/Jazz uses a different model Sprintex supercharger than the United States version of the supercharger. They will help make sure you order the correct model.

Since we do not have that model here in the US, we cannot confirm fitment.

ok i think i have to take the risk.one question though,as my RPM at normal speed is low ~1500-2000. so the SC wont be spooling that high, wont it effect the tune?
will i have to get it tuned for all modes?
sprintex SC is rateds at 5 psi.so when engine revs high, wont the boost increase? or there is mechanism in it to discard extra boot? like blowoff valves in turbos?

Full disclosure: I have no idea what I'm talking about. That being said, it is possible to go forced induction on a hybrid? I'd say buy the kit for the Fit/Jazz since that is what you have. Though your engine shares some features of the CR-Z engine it is a Fit/Jazz, not a CR-Z. If you buy the CR-Z kit you'll probably have to do some modifications to get everything to fit where it is supposed to whereas the Fit/Jazz kit will probably fit better.

yup i have searched the turbos already and could not find bolt on kits.HKS and GReddy have bolt on turbo kits fot 07-08 fit not for 2nd gen.and they mention its only of manual transmittion.! is that becaue they are worried about the torque CVT could not handle?
but i have searched that L15A CVT can be boosted upto 7 psi.i just aim at 4-5 psi max to be safe.
other options are universal turbos like TD035HL,TD04L etc but i dont have that kind of adnavce support here in my country to do DIY modifcations especially the manifold .i wonder i may not need an intercooler with a small setup nor any injectors or fuel pump.just a piggyback, turbo, manifold(Hmmm am i being to optimistic :P)
or if you guys name all the bolt on parts i can import from what ever in the world they are right now
By the way,i am in favor of Supercharger because my engine bay is very much packed, the electric motor and other hybrid stuff.look at pic how much packed every thing is.

Ok good new is that sprintex confirmed that their kit is good to go on my ride.but i read on CRZ forum that some lot of their piggy backs are faulty.and although they have rectified the problem but i am not sure they have requested all kits back from their sellers and replaced them or are doing this on customer complaint.they replace the one who have faulty.
Meanwhile i had chance to ride a K20 swapped CRZ.ohh man that was addictive experience. so i was wondering if i install the SC,and if want more power than further options are limited.
but with turbo options are wide.
but their are some points to consider regarding my turbo(i intend for upto 5 psi boost,7 to be max as i have CVT).other thing the car is driven very less.just on weekend on highway about 200 Km.
1:Eco idle function,as i have heard its good to idle for a min to cool down turbo, but with eco idle function the engine will shut down frequently at stops

2:my hybrid uses very thin oil 0w20,is it ok for turbo ?

3:with SC i dont need fuel system upgrade, will turbo need it? i.e. injectors or may be pump?

4:my car uses drive by wire system,i have read these are hard to turbo?

5:the tune solution.i intend for Hondata but as i entered my CPU number at hondata site it said not compatible.other option is Unichip Q

6:i dont want power in lower RPM(as IMA provides enough torque at 1000-1500RPM),will a small torbo like t3/4 will spool earlier to full boost?so i have to use bigger turbo?

7:SC not need much maintanace, belt, oil level but turbo will..

8:Its CVT,most kits state that they are for M/T only? why is that.i have read many CRZ cvt's on turbo at crz forum.mine is same,so i think can be done

Regarding kits,HKS is reliable but expensive.i have max bugdet of 3200-3500$.So may be i get bolt on header and flange and a good turbo and intercooler and tune.other pipes, valves etc etc buy seperate from different companies.will that be cheaper?

Dude you need to talk to the tuners in Japan on this. doing forced induction on a car like yours that is in a high altitude area is not only going to drop the reliability your asking for alot of problems might want to leave this car stock on the motor upgrade on the cooling points of the car and work on brakes and suspension.

Unless you get a K20 motor and supercharge it but you should have started with a Fit Base model 5m/t and worked on it from there.

if your going to play with the hybrid setup and tuning you're asking for a lot of problems. that fit rs is nice ride out of the box why screw it up.

i have made up my mind.i will order sprintex SC kit for CRZ.i already ordered HPS SRI.i hope that doest mess much with basic tune the sprintex piggyback have. But
i have a theory.if some one intsalls the intake weeks before the SC,so that OEM ECU learn about he extra air and add fuel accordingly.so when SC kit is installed as the piggyback controls only 5th (504cc) injector, not the other 4 which are still controlled by factory ECU and which have already adjusted fuel to extra air of intake by OEM ECU.so that should not ptoduce any problems?

2nd, how one hear if engine is knocking when whine of SC so so loud?
