190k miles on FIT SPORT 09 ok?

Hello everyone!
New to the forum. I was going to purchase a fit for my wife and found a nice 09 fit sport. My question is for $6,200 is that a good deal? I did a carfax and has had regular maintenance at a Honda dealer. This is also being sold at a huge Honda dealer. Am I way in over my head? How long do these engines last you think? The wife doesnt go far at all. Id say a 20 mile radius with kids to school, grocery etc.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Seems like a lot of money for a high mileage car. I think the engine should be fine, but I think that after 150, other random pieces start to go.

$6200 for a 2009 is too much. Especially with so many miles on it. They'll last another 100000 or so, but still. Way to expensive in my opinion. Maybe like $4200.

I'd say it should be closer to 5.5-5.7k if it only had 75,000 miles. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with a high-mileage car, but I would only go that route if it was cheap and you're willing to take on a bit of risk (and able/willing to do light-moderate car repair yourself).

At 190k, everything could require replacement and it could cost you every month because after you fix one thing this month, other one will go bad next month ...such as door lock, radio button, gear switch..headlamp...etc....

good thing that fit doesn't have much parts compare to other luxury cars..

I would get different, more heavier, safer, thicker door? for kids unless you drive more than 20k/yr and need to save gas...fit is safer than other small compact cars but ..omg...well...you will know when you get into accident...

There's an '09 Base on my local CL right now with 170K for $4500, so I'd say dealer is high. Haggle with 'em if you really like the car.
