Aftermarket Fog Light - '11 Base Model

Hey guys,

Seeing the foglight kit for 180+S/H got me sad and crying in a corner, I decided to lurk around eBay and found this aftermarket kit: Blinglights I actually thought they were no aftermarket kits for the GE8, however do you guys think this is a complete kit? A document attached to the product listing states this is a complete kit including mounts and ETC. Does anyone low of this could work OK instead of spending more than 200 bucks on the OEM kit?

Thanks in advance.

The retrofit source has some plug and play units for the non sport models. I had a sport that needed new fog lights and didn't want to go with oems but the ones from trs would not fit.

Probably not what you're looking for, but here's an idea anyway...

I just bought cheapo COB LEDs on eBay and wired them to run as DRLs. They're bright, but the light doesn't focus.

Here's what it looks light at night. Ignore the eyebrows.

If you search for "COB LED DRL" on ebay, you can find different styles (such as Z and L shapes) and different colors (cool white, bright white, warm white, etc).

My 2c: Cheap fogs aren't worth it. I'd get PIAA's or OEMs. I tend to like halogens because it snows here and LED fogs don't really get hot enough to melt caked snow (at least the ones I had).
