Best tires for fuel efficiency on my 2011 Fit Sport?
I got a 2011 Fit Sport with factory 16" allow wheels. It is time for new tires ASAP. What is the best tire out there for fuel efficiency?

I purchased the Michelin Premier A/S tires as replacements for the OEM tires on my 2012 Fit Sport. I love them, BUT if you are concerned about MPG, you might want something else.
I bought my Fit about one year ago, and drove for about 6 months with the original tires. I thought they were OK at best. Definitely not inspiring under wet conditions, although that may be because they were worn.
I averaged about 36-38 MPG with the original tires. It was consistently 36 ish in town, and I could get 38 ish on long interstate trips. Once I put the Michelins on, MPG immediately dropped about 4 MPG, both in town and on the road.
Just finished going through the winter here (PNW), and I love the tires. Very good in the rain, and although it was a relatively light snowfall this year, the tires did great. I had a trip a few months ago and was on a very icy section of interstate. I passed a bumper and misc other car parts where someone obviously hit the concrete barrier, and I watched a truck in my rear view mirror start fishtailing and spin out. The Michelins held the road.

The Yoko Avid Ascends have been fine as far as economy goes, though the best fuel economy I've ever achieved in either of my Fits was on cheapo General all-seasons and 46.8 MPG is not too bad.
Junior, sup with the NSX doe.

I have the 15" rims on my base, but I run Michelin Energy Savers. The do pretty good, but I'm in Utah where it's dry and I swap for snow tires during the winter. But during dry summer months they preform very well.

+1 for the Yokohama Avid Ascends. I don't keep detailed logs of mileage but I can't help but notice that the mpgs showing on the dash are higher than what I'd come to expect from my two previous sets of tires (OEM Bridgestones and then Sumitomos). Not a huge difference--about 2mpgs--but that's about 15-20 extra miles per tankful, which adds up over time. That said, with gasoline so inexpensive, these days I'd place grip in rain and snow, wear, and noise as higher priorities than mileage. Fortunately, the Ascends do well in all of these categories (imo), with the possible exception of noise, which tends to grow slightly as the tires wear.

are you all talking about the same sizes of RT 43's?
depending on the size, the 14, 15 and 16 inch ones are made in Slovakia Germany USA Czech Republic Mexico Brazil France Portugal and Romania.
My guess is that the different sizes of the "same" tire will not be exactly the same...
