Question for SoCal/LA Fit Owners

I just moved to Los Angeles in November. I ended up buying a 08 Sport(64000m) when I got here and it's lowered. How do you guys handle the highways here? I commute from Glendale down to El Segundo due to work. The 110 is pretty bad in certain spots. I've gotten used to it after the past couple months but some days I really dread the bumps. When I test drove it I was on a military base so the roads were in good shape so I didn't notice the every bump. I ended getting the car for a good price since the guy was leaving the country and didn't feel like putting the car in storage. Sadly I didn't ask the guy what struts/springs he put on the car. I don't mind the car being lowered but was thinking about switching to Swift Mach Springs since I've heard they pretty good things about them. Would switching to these springs help deal with the bumps here?
